Peer Review Process
Caucasus Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences (CJHSS) employs a rigorous peer review process to ensure the highest standards of academic integrity and quality. All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial screening to assess their alignment with the journal's scope and basic formal requirements.
The journal follows a Double-Blind Peer Review method. In this process, the identities of both the authors and the reviewers are kept confidential to ensure an objective and unbiased evaluation.
Each submission is evaluated by independent expert reviewers in the relevant field. Based on the reviewers' detailed reports and recommendations, the Editor-in-Chief or the Section Editor makes the final decision. The possible outcomes of the review process are as follows:
-
Accept Submission: The article is accepted for publication in its current form, without further revisions.
-
Revisions Required: The article is accepted on the condition that the author(s) address minor comments and make the necessary adjustments.
-
Resubmit for Review: The submission requires significant structural or content-related changes. After these revisions are made, the article will undergo a second round of peer review to determine its suitability for publication.
-
Decline Submission: The submission is found unsuitable for the journal’s standards or scope and will not be published.
